Outline proposals of a general nature, which have now been publicised by the Shannon Estuary Company, have been submitted to me and are under examination. Pending the submission of further information which is awaited from the Company, I have no detailed information about the proposals which goes substantially beyond what has been published in the newspapers. The other Departments concerned have the limited information now available.
