The number of male workers (excluding clerical workers) employed by my Department in receipt of wages between £4 10s. and £7 per week is 28.
The total wages so paid in 1959 was £7,892 18s. 10d. The categories in which these workers are employed are (1) Library attendants in the National Library; (2) Workmen employed in certain Model Schools; (3) Part-time nightwatchman; (4) Workmen employed in certain Preparatory Colleges.
