The number of publicity items issued by the Government Information Bureau on behalf of the Minister for Health or his Department during the period of three years referred to in the Deputy's Question was approximately 85. This figure includes announcements of appointments to Boards, Associations, Councils or Commissions, Reports of the Department and of Councils established by the Minister, statements concerning Ministerial Orders, notifications regarding diseases, etc.
As regards the second part of the Question, the cost of issue of such statements, etc., is merged in the general costs of the administration of the Departments concerned, and it would not be practicable to segregate it.
