The number of temporary postmen in the employment of the State on 1/4/1960 was 490, of whom 235 were full-time. Fluctuations occur from day to day depending upon pressure of work, incidence of vacancies and sick and annual leave.
Would the Minister say if the full-time temporary postmen —it seems an extraordinary title— have any pension rights?
I do not think so.
