asked the Taoiseach the total exports and imports of cargo and livestock through the following ports for the least available year:— Dundalk, Drogheda, Arklow, Wexford, Waterford, Cork, Limerick, Fenit, Galway, Killala and Sligo.

The latest year for which statistics of imports and exports classified according to ports of entry and exit are at present available is 1954 and I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the value of imports and total exports for that year through each of the ports mentioned in the Deputy's question, for which the information is available.
