The only relevant information available at this stage is the estimated total expenses of agriculture (including wages and salaries, but excluding fertilisers, feeding stuffs and seeds) which amounted to £52 million in 1960 compared with £51 million in 1959. Details of the separate items of expenditure will be compiled when "National Income and Expenditure, 1960" is being prepared in the Autumn.
