asked the Minister for Finance the number of State pensioners who were affected by the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1960, and the number whose annual pensions are now (a) under £100, (b) £100-£150, (c) £150-£200, (d) £200-£300, (e) £300-£450 and (f) over £450.

The number of pensions which were increased under the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1960, and are currently in course of payment is approximately 7,990, constituted as follows:—

Service Pensions and 1,250 Widows and Children's pensions under £100 per annum.
