asked the Minister for Finance whether, further to a reply of 15th November last, any progress has been made in carrying out the proposed model investigation to resolve the difficulties associated with the improvement of the harbour at Kilmore Quay, County Wexford; and if he will state the present position with regard to such improvements.

asked the Minister for Finance if he has any scheme for the improvement of harbour facilities for fishing boats at Kilmore Quay, County Wexford.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to answer Questions Nos. 23 and 26 together. In agreement with the Wexford County Council arrangements have been made for a model investigation of the harbour at Kilmore Quay and its approaches with a view to designing an improvement scheme. The results of this investigation will be available about the end of the year.
