Vol. 194 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal School.

67.

asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to build a new national school at Killygordon, County Donegal; and, if so, when

It is proposed to replace Killygordon national school by a new school. The Reverend Manager has offered a suitable site but certain preliminary arrangements, which are being attended to, must be made before my Department will be in a position to sanction a grant towards the cost of the new school.

I am unable, at present, to give any indication as to when it is likely that work on the erection of the new school can be commenced.

Would the Minister use his good offices with the Board of Works to ensure the school will be built in the very near future?
