Five short film trailers for Army recruiting purposes were made on behalf of my Department by the National Film Institute of Ireland in 1952. These trailers were subsequently made into one complete film and the trailers and film were shown in cinemas throughout the country. No films of the nature mentioned in the Deputy's question have since been made by or on behalf of my Department nor is it at present proposed to arrange for the making of any such films.
