An investigation of export outlets for Irish agricultural produce was carried out by the Advisory Committee on the Marketing of Agricultural Produce which was appointed by me in December, 1957. The Committee examined the position in export markets generally, paying particular attention to Britain and Continental countries. In the course of their examination, members of the Committee made on the spot investigations at several centres in Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
