The information required by the Deputy in respect of the years 1957-58 to 1960-61 inclusive was given in answer to a Parliamentary Question on 20th April, 1961. The total amount of State borrowing in 1961-62 was £44.95 million.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state for each of the years 1957-58 to 1961-62 inclusive the total amount payable and paid in (a) interest and (b) sinking fund in respect of State borrowings.
