At present four new national schools are being erected and two schemes of improvement are being carried out to existing national schools in the constituency of East Galway. It is hoped that work will commence on the erection of three more new national schools and on the reconstruction of two existing national schools before the end of March, 1963.
Work is in progress on a new five-roomed vocational school. It is also proposed to extend another vocational school by providing a new metalwork room and woodwork store.
