I am informed by CIE that its appropriation account for the year ended 31st March, 1962, will include an amount of £201,197 being the surplus arising on the disposal of rolling stock and railway lines previously written off.
I asked the Minister for that information and he did not give it to me. He said he had no function. I am glad he has opened up communication with Kingsbridge again.
