At 30th June, 1962, 31,189 persons were in receipt of old age (contributory) pensions at the full rate and 4,203 persons were in receipt of such pensions at partial rates. The latest date for which figures are available for non-contributory old age pensions is 30th March, 1962, when 108,671 persons were in receipt of pensions at the full rate and 9,514 were in receipt of pensions at partial rates.
