Fourteen proposals for the establishment of new industries or for extensions to existing industries, in Limerick city came to my notice in the period from 1st July, 1957 to 30th June, 1962. In five of these cases production has commenced and four of the remainder are under consideration as live proposals by my Department or the Industrial Development Authority.
