Committee of Selection—Eighth Report.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Taoiseach (Mr. J. Brennan)

The Committee of Selection reports that it has nominated the following members to serve on the Committee of Public Accounts on the Appropriation Accounts for the year ended 31st March, 1962:—

Deputies Jack Belton, Lionel Booth, Patrick J. Burke, Frank Carter, Mark A. Clinton, Liam Cunningham, Daniel Desmond, Nicholas Egan, Denis F. Jones, Patrick J. Lalor, Henry Kenny, Frank Sherwin and Seán Treacy.

I move that the Report do lie upon the Table.

I wish to be taken as dissenting, in view of the fact that I think the Committee of Selection is not properly constituted.
