This river has been listed at No.25 on the approved priority list of minor catchments which has been published. I cannot say at present when it can be reached in the drainage programme.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider including the stretch of the left bank of the River Swilly, County Donegal from Castleray to Thorn in the present drainage programme being carried out by the Office of Public Works, in view of the great need for the drainage and of the fact that machinery is readily available.
The matter is at present under consideration.
