My Department agreed in May, 1961, to purchase an area of 67 acres in the townland of Noard, County Tipperary, but the owner subsequently offered an additional area of 50 acres and requested that the two transactions be dealt with simultaneously. My Department is at present negotiating for the purchase of the additional area but at this stage it is not possible to say when proceedings will be completed.
