NOTE 1: Only county councils and county borough corporations are licensing authorities.
NOTE 2:—The amount shown collected by Dublin Corporation includes the Dublin County area.
In regard to (iv), road improvement grants generally are distributed on a mileage basis. Some road improvement grants, however, e.g., the Tourist Road Grants for the Gaeltacht and Congested Areas and the special grants for Bridges are distributed on the basis of the relative need and urgency of the problems to be dealt with, the limited resources available to meet those problems and other relevant factors. The Main Road Upkeep Grant for 1961-62 consisted of 40 per cent recoupment of approved expenditure on upkeep of main roads in counties and county boroughs.
On a point of order, because of the interruptions, I did not hear the reply from the Minister.
We cannot keep Deputy Lynch in order.
We cannot have the reply repeated because Deputy Lynch is disorderly. I cannot prevent him being disorderly.
I do not think Deputy Lynch was disorderly.
Definitely.
