Final decisions regarding migration each year depend on a number of factors, including the circumstances of the various applicants, the suitability of their lands for use in effecting rearrangement and the number of new holdings which are available for disposal. Such arrangements for migration as are in train for the current season are still tentative but, provided the necessary co-operation is forthcoming it is hoped to resettle 23 County Mayo landowners on new holdings by 1st May, next.
