asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that there is no water supply or sewerage facilities at Liscarbon national school, County Leitrim; and if plans are being prepared to provide these facilities at this school in the near future and at many other schools in the county.

A report is awaited from the Commissioners of Public Works in regard to the provision of a water-flushed system of sanitation at Liscarbon national school, County Leitrim.

Grants have been sanctioned for the erection of four new national schools and for the carrying out of schemes of improvement at two existing schools in County Leitrim. Water-flushed sanitation will be installed in each of these schools.
