Vol. 205 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephones in Dublin Garda Stations.

42.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Justice if he will arrange to have additional telephones installed in each garda station in the Dublin area, having regard to the increasing difficulty being experienced by the public in contacting the gardaí by telephone owing to existing lines being engaged.

I have received no complaints that the existing facilities are insufficient to meet public demands and the Commissioner has informed me that they are adequate for all garda requirements.
