As a result of a competition conducted recently by the Civil Service Commissioners two persons have so far been offered appointment as driver testers. They have accepted the offers of appointment but have not yet taken up duty. In the circumstances, I do not wish to give their names at this stage. I would not propose to give their addresses unless I was satisfied that it was in the public interest to do so and the persons concerned had given their consent.
