The only proposal before my Department which relates to the acquisition of cottage sites by Tipperary South Riding County Council is the Tipperary (South Riding) Compulsory (Labourers Acts) No. 2 Order, 1963.
The Order provides for the acquisition of sites for 27 cottages. Objections were lodged in respect of two parcels of land on which it is proposed to erect 24 cottages and a public local inquiry will be held on 29th April, 1964, to consider the objections. I have confirmed the Order in respect of the three unopposed sites.
