The revision of valuation is not a function of my Department. Intending applicants for such grants may, however, be assured that where a grant is made under section 5 of the Housing (Loans and Grants) Act, 1962, any increase in the valuation of the house arising from the repairs shall not come into force within seven years after the completion of the repairs.
