asked the Minister for Lands how much land is to be divided in the district of Cahir, County Tipperary with special reference to the Charteris estate; and when it is likely to be divided.
With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 79 and 80 together.
The position regarding the Charteris estate is as stated in my reply to a previous question on 23rd November last. Arrangements for the formulation of a scheme for the division of the remainder of the lands are being pushed forward as rapidly as possible.
It is expected that an area in the region of 500 acres will be allotted in the Cahir district in the current year.
