The Special Employment Schemes Office is continuing to administer the schemes financed from the Employment and Emergency Schemes Vote. As I have previously indicated, however, consideration is being given to alternative ways of carrying out the schemes which would involve smaller overheads. A final conclusion has not yet been reached in this regard, but a decision will be announced at the earliest possible date.
