With your permission, Sir, I propose to take Questions Nos. 1 and 2 together and to circulate in the Official Report a tabular statement giving the information requested in so far as it is available for industries producing transportable goods. Current data concerning the volume of industrial production in 1965 relates to the period January-September; the compilation of the results of the quarterly industrial inquiry covering the fourth quarter of 1965 will not be completed before the end of next month. Data on the value of industrial production are available only from the annual censuses of industry; the latest completed census relates to the year 1963.
