(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the total number of bills, loans and advances by commercial banks (a) to customers within the State, and (b) to the Government at April of each year during the past decade and at the latest date on which figures are available, giving in each case the contemporaneous external assets of the banking system and Departmental funds.
