Interest on the 6 per cent Funding Loan, 1969, is payable half-yearly on 31st March and 30th September. When the 1966 Budget is being framed provision will be made for the payment of interest due in the year 1966-67. In view of the short-term nature of the loan, it would not be practicable to provide an annual sinking fund for its redemption.
