79.

asked the Minister for Health when he expects to be in a position to sanction the building of a male nurses' home and accommodation for male medical staff at St. Brendan's Hospital, Dublin.

Mr. O'Malley

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I will take Questions Nos. 78 and 79 together.

I have asked for the view of the health authority, including the views of the new Chief Psychiatric Adviser, as to the future organisation of services at St. Brendan's. I regard it as necessary to consider the proposals made in the light of the organisation proposed. When I receive the views of the health authority, I will give a decision in regard to the proposals.
