Vol. 221 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Psychiatric Day Hospital.

80.

asked the Minister for Health when he expects to be in a position to sanction the provision of a psychiatric day hospital in the grounds of Vergemount Fever Hospital, County Dublin.

Mr. O'Malley

I agree, in principle, with the provision of a psychiatric day hospital: I am not satisfied, however, that Vergemount Fever Hospital is a suitable location for such a hospital. I am aware that the health authority has been considering the possibility of using other centres. As soon as a suitable centre is available, I am prepared to sanction its use.
