Vol. 221 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Galway Planning Appeal.

15.

asked the Minister for Local Government when a decision will be made in regard to the appeal of a person (name supplied) against the refusal by Galway Corporation to grant him planning permission to extend his premises.

Consequent on a discussion with my Department's planning inspector in November, 1965, the appellant's architect agreed to submit revised proposals after consultation with his client and the Galway planning officer. Such proposals have not been received but I understand that the architect now wishes to make a further submission on behalf of his client clarifying certain aspects of the original proposal. I propose to defer a decision for a short time until I have had an opportunity of considering any such submission that may be made.
