asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of applications for sanction of loans for SDA purposes received from (a) Dublin County Council and (b) Meath County Council since 1st April, 1965 to date (1) the date of loan application and the amount, (2) the amount paid to each local authority on foot of each application, and (3) the amount outstanding.

Dublin County Council applied for a loan of £500,000 on 16th October last and for a further loan of the same amount on the 11th of this month. £200,000 has been paid from the Local Loans Fund out of loans totalling £350,000 sanctioned in respect of the first application. The second application is under consideration.
Meath County Council applied for a loan of £100,000 on 7th September last and a loan of £30,000 was sanctioned on 26th January. No payment has yet been made on foot of this loan.
