NOTES: 1. Where service is 22 years or more the weekly rate of pension is increased by one shilling in respect of each year in excess of 21 years but not in excess of 31 years.
2. A minimum of 21 years' service is required for the grant of a pension to a non-commissioned officer or private who is discharged on grounds other than disability or age. In the latter two instances a minimum of 15 years' service is necessary.
3. Non-commissioned officers and privates are not eligible for gratuities on discharge, in addition to pensions, but married personnel are eligible for an additional married pension.
4. The benefits payable on discharge to married non-commissioned officers and privates do not include separate elements in respect of children.
