Vol. 223 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Flooding of Dublin Residence.

10.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that a Dublin resident (name and address supplied) has been the subject of continuous flooding over the past two years; and that despite many approaches to the local authority nothing has been done to date to prevent this flooding; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am informed that the estate in question has not yet been taken in charge by the county council and that the primary responsibility for the relief of the flooding complained of rests with the estate developer, but that nevertheless the Dublin County Council have on a number of occasions cleared road gullies in the estate to relieve flooding in times of heavy rain.
