I am informed that the Limerick Market Trustees levy tolls under section 5 of the Limerick Markets Act, 1872, which is a private Act. I understand further that the Act makes no provision for the revision or abolition of the tolls. I am having inquiries made in the matter and will communicate with the Deputy in due course.
