Vol. 226 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Estate.

15.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Lands how long the Gleeson estate at Lackandarra, County Waterford has been in the hands of the Land Commission; and if it is likely to be divided in the near future.

Possession of this estate, comprising 47 acres, passed to the Land Commission in September of last year. Arrangements for the formulation of a scheme are being pushed forward as rapidly as possible and it is hoped that resale proposals for this and other properties on hands in the district will be approved so as to permit allocation of all the lands in the coming Spring.
