Kerry County Council's application for a loan to finance this work is still under consideration in my Department. I am not yet in a position to say when a decision in the matter is likely to issue.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that a deputation from Ardfert district, Tralee, attended a recent meeting of Kerry County Council protesting against the inadequacy of the supply of water for the new sewerage scheme; and, if so, when it is proposed to sanction the application submitted for a loan to implement the new water supply scheme in the area.
There has been no change in the position in regard to the Ardfert water supply scheme since my reply to a question on the 9th ultimo. I am not in a position to say when approval to the council's loan application to finance the scheme is likely to issue.
