I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a similar question about this subject on 28th September, 1966—Vol. 224 (2), cols. 189 and 190 of the Official Report. In present circumstances there is little possibility that the necessary specialist staff could be made available to undertake the task of consolidating and codifying the numerous (upwards of 40) statutes comprising the land purchase code. The subject will, however, be kept under review.
