National income statistics are kept on a calendar year basis. Capital formation in dwellings has been estimated by the Central Statistics Office at 4.0 per cent and 3.6 per cent of gross national product in 1965 and 1966 respectively.
Output of new dwellings in 1965-66 and 1966-67 corresponded to 3.9 and 3.8 dwellings, respectively, per 1,000 of population.
