Vol. 242 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Housing.

25.

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position in regard to the Dublin County Council's proposal for housing at Kenure Park, Rush, County Dublin.

Last week, I approved Dublin County Council's proposal to accept a tender for the development of sites for 54 local authority houses and 82 private houses on the southern portion of the site at Kenure Park, Rush. The submission of house plans and an estimate of cost for the 54 local authority houses is awaited in my Department. A revised layout for the northern portion of the site is being prepared by the council at present.

If Deputy Foley were on speaking terms with Deputy P.J. Burke, the chairman of the county council, he would not have asked that question.

Would the Minister say if this means that the provision of sewerage in Rush will go ahead according to plan?

I am afraid I will have to get a separate question about that.

It is a separate question.
