Information on the percentages of gross national product spent on housing and on the number of houses built per 1,000 of population in this country and in Portugal, France, Germany and Holland is contained in Appendix V of the White Paper "Housing in the Seventies" which I issued last June. Corresponding information for Greece and Spain, in so far as it is readily available, is contained in the annual bulletin of housing and building statistics, published by the Economic Commission for Europe.
