asked the Taoiseach if he will state in respect of the latest year for which figures are available the State's (a) exports and (b) imports of fish and fish products in (i) quantity and (ii) value.

During the year 1969 exports of fish and fish preparations totalled 630,272 cwts, value £3,557,527, while imports amounted to 161,446 cwts, value £2,373,706.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will state in respect of the latest year for which figures are available the State's catches of fish in (i) quantity and (ii) value.

The figures for sea-fish are as follows in respect of the twelve months ended 31st October, 1969:—
