This matter is under consideration in my Department in the light of the recommendation made in the second report of the Landlord and Tenant Commission. In the meantime, where a housing authority are prepared to sell the fee simple interest to a tenant-purchaser subject to reasonable conditions, including conditions as to price and the use of the dwelling as a residence, I will be willing to consider their proposals.
