Vol. 248 No. 9

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Pedestrian Light Signals.

61.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the urgent need for a controlled crossing at the junction of Upper Sallynoggin Road and O'Rourke Park, Dublin; and if he will, as a matter of urgency, have the necessary equipment made available.

Approval to charging to their Road Fund allocation, half the cost of providing pedestrian operated light signals at the location mentioned by the Deputy was conveyed to Dún Laoghaire Corporation by my Department on 21st March, 1969. It is a matter for the corporation to proceed with the installation.
