Vol. 248 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Blackrock (Dublin) School Facilities.

38.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state, in view of the increase in the numbers of school-going children at Newtown Park, Blackrock, County Dublin, and the inadequacy of school facilities there, what action is proposed to provide extra accommodation.

A new national school is to be provided in the parish of Newtownpark. As it will be some time before a permanent building can be ready, a prefabricated school is at present being erected. I am informed that it will be ready for occupation in September next.
