Film Industry Bill, 1970: First Stage.
Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to provide for the establishment of a Board to be known as An Bord Scannán to assist and encourage the development of a film industry in the State, to empower the Board to provide grants, loans and guarantees of loans for the making of certain films in the State, to define its other powers and functions and to provide for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid.—(Minister for Industry and Commerce.)
