The cost of official Christmas greeting cards sent by my predecessor in 1969 was £66 12s 0d.
It is estimated that the cost of official Christmas greeting cards this year will be £111 8s Od. This includes the cost of cards sent by me as Minister for the Gaeltacht.
As regards the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Finance the cost of Christmas cards sent in 1969 was £58 10s 6d. It is estimated that the cost of cards to be sent this year will be similar.
Officially provided Christmas cards are despatched as Departmental post and there is no separate postage record.
